The Yarra Roughies Masters Swimming Club is a Masters Swimming Club based at the Fitzroy Swimming Pool.  We are an incorporated club and a member of MSA, the national body that oversees Masters swimming in Australia.

Our aim is to provide a safe and managed environment to encourage adults, regardless of age or ability, to swim regularly in order to promote fitness and improve their general health.  We currently have approximately 20 members who enjoy training, competing and a variety of social activities throughout the year. New Members are always welcome.

The Brunswick Belugas are a group of people aged 20-65 with a shared love of swimming.  Our club includes swimmers with a wide range of abilities and speeds, and our emphasis is on personal improvement within a friendly, supportive environment.  We enjoy open water swimming and participating in Masters  swim meets, and especially the obligatory food, drink and social fun that accompany them!

New swimmers interested in joining the club are very welcome to join and try out a squad session, and to come for breakfast at The Flour Mill on Sydney Road afterwards. During the week, most of us also swim in the squad sessions organised by the BCB (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6am-7.15am), and can generally be tempted for a coffee in one of the many local venues near the baths.

The Flyers train twice a week at the Ivanhoe Girls Grammar school pool, with training sessions conducted by an experienced coach, catering for swimmers of all abilities. While some members compete in pool competitions and open water swims, other just swim for fun and fitness.

The Northern Masters Swimming Club was formed by 5 past and present members of the Hume City Swimming Club. These members were very interested in competing in the Masters Swim Meets but found that the closest Masters Club was quite a distance from Craigieburn. With several other Swimming Clubs within the region they decided the area needed a Masters Club to cater for the older swimmers.
The club is interested in the health, fitness and welfare of adults in a recreational and/or competitive environment. They are coached by Joe Caruana and are always looking for new members.
